Ran Moray won the 72nd Hunger Games at the age of eighteen. Tall, blonde, pretty: her angle was cute-but-sexy, her manner likeable and winning enough to get sponsors. No one was surprised that she won, but equally, no one would have been surrpised if she hadn't. In the long line of tall, cute tributes from districts One, Two and Four, Ran is fairly unremarkable.

Suits her just fine.

And if you ask her, that's what she'll say, that she's fine. Totally fine. She did her duty and volunteered, she survived, she won, and for the 74th games, she was even able to stay home in District Four. She doesn't have more then amount of nightmares she'd expect, she doesn't get hysterical or jumpy to the point of unreasonable paranoia, she's not an alcoholic.

She's fine.






Ran is 5'10 with the long lines of a habitual swimmer, and moves with the kind of balance one gets on tilting decks and sparring mats. She's a pretty young woman with large brown eyes, full lips, thick golden hair and golden skin darkened in the sun.

And she is, in fact, not particularly fine. But then, no victor really is.
